Snail Morph

You're a wizard who's been sent on a noble quest to rid the kingdom of the foulest beasts. Travel through 10 levels of various magical effects to destroy your foes before you run out of mana!

Controls

Aim your spells by moving the mouse. Hold down the mouse to charge your spell and release to cast. The longer you charge, the further the spell will go*. Once you start charging, you can't change the direction.
While Lindsay Mode is active, a spell can be dropped by pressing space.
At any time, you can navigate the levels with the number keys (press 0 for level 10), quit to the main menu with Q, and restart the current level with R.

*A slight difference from the specification: Instead of a line that indicates the charge based on its length, the opacity of the spell and the trajectory preview (see below) are used to show the charge.

Settings

Lindsay Mode: Play as the powerful sorcerer Lindsay! Your spells cause bigger explosions and you can press space while the spell is in the air to immediately drop it.
Wind: Each time you cast a spell, the wind will blow in a random direction, affecting the spell's trajectory. The wind direction for the current spell is shown in the top-left of the screen.
Trajectory Preview: While casting a spell, you'll see a trajectory of where the spell will go. The higher the number you choose, the longer the line will be. The line is unaffected by wind or any level-specific hazards.

Features

Level 1: No extra mechanics. Win the level by firing a spell that hits the enemy.
Level 2: 'Black holes' will suck spells towards them.
Level 3: One second after casting a spell, it will start to change course to directly target the enemy.
Level 4: The enemy has a shield that must be hit three times before the enemy is vulnerable and able to be defeated.
Level 5: There are moving barriers in the way that your spells will bounce off.
Level 6: When a spell lands, it releases five smaller projectiles that travel away from the explosion at random velocities.
Level 7: Spells cause no damage and stick to the surface they land on, but all spells are connected by lines of energy that is harmful to your enemy.
Level 8: You must defeat three smaller enemies before the main enemy becomes vulnerable to your spells. Some of the enemies are further away, so the screen will scroll to follow your spells after you cast them.
Level 9: 'Wormholes' will teleport your spells to the other wormhole of the same colour. Your spells will maintain their velocities.
Level 10: Your enemy will burrow underground and briefly pop up from randomly chosen locations.

The concept of the game is based on the weird amount of medieval artwork featuring knights fighting snails.
